About Nompendulo Shabangu
Nompendulo Shabangu is a seasoned Communication Specialist & Strategist. She possesses over 14 years’ worth of professional experience in various fields, a majority of which have been leadership roles. Prior to venturing into business, her last appointment was as a Public Relations Officer at one of the largest NGOs in Botswana.
Furthermore, Nompendulo has an inclination toward work surrounding sustainability and ESG. She aims to play a crucial role in aiding individuals, corporations and nations to adequately and efficiently have impactful and transformational conversations on sustainability, and to effectively report on, and tell their sustainability stories.
At the heart of Nompendulo’s work is the professionalisation of Africa and her people through social and professional storytelling by aiding individuals and corporates unearth, excellently package, and tell their brand stories effectively and accurately.
She is driven by the African proverb which says, “Until the lion learns how to write, the story will always glorify the hunter.”
Nompendulo holds a Bachelor of Media Studies degree from the University of Botswana and is a Certified Trainer through Dawn Training Institute.
